What exactly is Update?

Update - It's the world's first caffeine-free, sugar-free, artificial sweetener-free, zero calorie energy drink.

You heard that right - a caffeine-free energy drink that actually works!

We use an ingredient that caffeine naturally transforms into called Paraxanthine, and it gives you all the benefits you want from caffeine without the side effects. You won't feel jittery or crash.

Where can I buy Update?

Update is sold on our website, just navigate to the shop section! If you want to look elsewhere, you can find us on Amazon and check out our store locator to see if we’re in a store near you.

Should I drink Update if I am sensitive to caffeine?

Update is caffeine-free, instead we use a new ingredient called Paraxanthine that gives you the energy you want from caffeine without the noticeable downsides. Several users of Update are caffeine sensitive and have not reported any feelings of displeasure that they may associate with caffeine consumption.

When should I expect to receive my Update?

Delivery dates vary depending on your shipping location, holiday seasons and unforeseen circumstances like weather. You’ll receive tracking once the order has shipped. Typically orders are arriving within 5-7 business days. 

How can I contact Update for support?

What happens if I don’t like Update?

Before making any decisions, please make sure to refrigerate Update for at least 12 hours before giving it a shot. We also suggest trying our variety pack first to ensure you get to taste all our flavors. If you still don’t like it, please send us an email and we’ll attempt to offer you a refund.


What is in UPDATE?

UPDATE is a carbonated energy drink packed with focus, energy and mood boosting ingredients.

Our core ingredient is called paraxanthine and it's supported with a powerful stack of nootropics including n-acetyl l-tyrosine, taurine, alpha-gpc, l-theanine, 5htp and vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin).

Is Update caffeine-free?

Yes - UPDATE has zero caffeine in it.

What is paraxanthine?

Paraxanthine is a metabolite of caffeine that provides everything we love about caffeine without the drawbacks. You can read more about it here in our white paper.

How much paraxanthine is in UPDATE?

One serving of UPDATE contains 300mg of paraxanthine (enfinity®).

How many calories are in UPDATE?

UPDATE is a low calorie energy drink. Our Mandarin and Berry flavors contain 20 calories while our Peach and Lime flavors contain only 15 calories. The calories primarily come from our natural flavor system and natural sweeteners.

Is there sugar in UPDATE?

No - UPDATE has zero sugar.

What is UPDATE sweetened with?

Unlike most energy drinks that rely on artificial sweeteners such as sucralose and aspartame, UPDATE only uses natural sweeteners. We opted for a synergistic mix of allulose and stevia to enhance our flavor profile.

Is UPDATE Kosher?


Does UPDATE need to be refrigerated?

No - UPDATE can be stored at any tempurature. However, for maximum enjoyment and to experience the best taste, we recommend drinking UPDATE when it is cold.

What is the best time of day to drink UPDATE?

People drink UPDATE to get in the zone. No matter the time of day, you can rely on UPDATE to help you get the job done and give you an edge.

Is it ok to drink more than one UPDATE per day?

Like many energy drinks, we recommend no more than one serving per day.

Is UPDATE safe for pregnant women and children?

UPDATE is not intended for use by children, pregnant or nursing women.

What if I don't like UPDATE?

We recommend trying UPDATE when it's been refridgerated or cooled down before making any judgement. But if you've tried that and are still dissatisfied, please email us at hello@drinkupdate.com and we'll do our best to fix it.

How do you ship UPDATE and what is the shipping cost?

We're just starting and so we ship from one source of origin in Connecticut. We currently absorb the shipping cost ourselves. However, from time to time we may offer expidited shipping as an option at checkout for an additional cost.

Do you ship internationally (outside the USA)?

Right now we only ship within the United States. We will keep you notified as we expand our global footprint and are always keen to hear from you where you'd like us to ship to next.

How soon will I receive my order?

Most orders ship within 1-2 business days and are delivered within 3-5 business days. You will be notified when your order is on its way and again once it has been delivered.

My order hasn't arrived, what should I do?

Every order confirmation email comes with a tracking number. Please check the tracking for a realtime update or alternatively, feel free to email support at hello@drinkupdate.com.

My order arrived and is damaged. What should I do?

We're sorry for that experience - it's never fun when you've had to wait for something and it arrives damaged. Please send us a picture to hello@drinkupdate.com and we'll do our best to send you a replacement order free of charge as soon as possible.


How can I get UPDATE in my office?

How can I sign up for a recurring subscription?

Signing up for a subscription is really simple. Once you’ve selected the product(s) you want to buy, you’ll be given an option to Subscribe and Save 10% or pay full price for a one-time purchase. When you select Subscribe and Save, you’ll be prompted to select a delivery frequency and then add your product to cart. Then it’s checkout as usual.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You don’t want to stay up to date anymore? You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account, selecting Subscriptions, clicking on your active subscription and selecting Cancel. 

Can I pause and skip a subscription?

Yes. You can pause and skip a subscription at any time by logging into your account and managing your subscription. If you have any troubles doing so, you can also email us at hello@drinkupdate.com and we’ll take care of it for you.

How can I swap a subscription flavor?

You have the option to swap the flavors when you log into your account. If you run into any difficulties, you can reach out to us at hello@drinkupdate.com and we’ll be happy to help.

Can I take advantage of deals that are offered to non-subscribers?

Certainly! From time to time non-subscribers are offered certain deals. To take advantage of them, you’ll need to log out of your account and place a one-time purchase using that offer code. 

How will I receive exclusive perks?

Subscribers are first on our list for all exclusive offers, flavor launches and announcements! 

Can I get my subscription sooner than planned?

Yes - log into your account and click on Manage Subscriptions and the select Next Order Date. You’ll be able to adjust it to your preferred date.
